About the Event

Becky Dineen’s journey from a bank executive to a devoted beekeeper is truly inspiring. With a decade of experience in beekeeping, she has transitioned beautifully into a role that combines her passion for nature and community engagement. As the former VP of the Pinellas Beekeepers Association and a bee inspector for the Florida Department of Agriculture, Becky brings invaluable expertise to her craft. Together with her husband, Art Howe, they run A Bee’s Place, focusing on honey production, specialty honey sales, and bee removal services. Currently finishing her Master Beekeeper program at the University of Florida, Becky also actively shares her knowledge at various clubs and community events, promoting awareness and appreciation for bees. Her work not only highlights the importance of these pollinators but also encourages sustainable practices within the community.
