July 8th, 2025 ABA General Membership Meeting

Somewhere, perhaps near you, that is an unassuming honeybee tree. It's home to thousands of honeybees that absconded and flew until they found a suitable new home. The neighbors may not appreciate them in that tree, hollow log or brick wall. What to do? Trap them out. Tonight's presentation will not only teach you how to hunt the honeybee but also how you can trap them out safely from solid homes (trees, walls etc.) This is not the same as a "cut-out" but that will be touched on as well. You'll hear from ABA members Melanie Annis and Anton Hahna and watch a brief presentation on how it is done.
