Since my recent flood, someone has offered to place railroad ties as a base to raise my hive racks up. I'm wondering about the possibility of the poison in creosote and how/if it will have a negative impact on the bees. Any advice?

Don’t know if creosote is toxic to bees or not. Your hive stands look similar to mine but I put mine on cement blocks (1 under each cross piece) to get them 8 inches off the ground and add a 4x4 block to get a little higher for me
