2022 Honey Taste Judging Competition

In keeping an ABA recent tradition ABA is hosting a honey tasting competition. We hope to meet and greet you at the November 3-13 North Florida Fair. We'll display the honey entries there. We've created a fun, but safe, way for you to submit your entries in October.

Pack up your honey, drop off the entry at either the Leon County or Wakulla County Extension Offices and we'll announce the winner(s) in November.

Anyone wishing to enter the competition must bring a separate container of honey for each entry with no distinguishing labels so that judging can be kept anonymous.

This year, ABA honey competition will be judged via silent ballot by three judges

Entries should be dropped off in the ABA Honey Show drop box at their local County Extension office (addresses in the Rules pdf). Drop off starts October 1 and end October 31. Look for a flyer posted near the main entrance that describes where the drop off box is located. Please read (and abide) by the rules.
